KSS Fuels Expands Global Sales Force

Carey, Cooper and Nunez to Market Fuels Pricing Software, Analytics and Consulting to Leading Retailers and Wholesalers around the World

KSS Fuels has hired Huw Carey and Robert Cooper as sales account executives and Steve Nunez as an inside sales representative. The trio will focus on marketing KSS Fuels’ pricing software, analytics and consulting services to fuel retailers and wholesalers in the oil and gas, convenience store and retail industries across the globe.

Cooper and Nunez will office out of Houston, the major hub for oil and gas activity in the U.S., and Carey will office out of the company’s Manchester, U.K. office.

Carey is a seasoned sales executive with more than 25 years of global experience. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in the petroleum and convenience industries, and recently served as international business development director for Torex Retail Holdings Ltd. At Torex, he successfully developed inroads with major oil companies in South East Asia, thus expanding the company’s business focus beyond its traditional U.K. and Benelux market areas.

Cooper is a senior sales professional with 15 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, including sales to the wholesale oil and gas industry. He has managed, negotiated and closed numerous sales opportunities in excess of $1 million with Fortune 1,000 accounts. His experience includes directing all aspects of complex sales processes including prospecting, discovery, allocating internal resources, demonstrations, forecasting, sales force automation tracking, proposal/ROI/TCO presentation, negotiations and closing.

Nunez has 10 years of software sales experience and core skills in sales management and business development. He has a solid background in business management applications, including market analysis, sales, marketing, team and relationship-building. With his sales and contract negotiation expertise, Nunez has consistently met or exceeded multi-million dollar individual and team sales goals during his career.
