Wayne Oil CO. Chooses KSS to Manage and Optimize Fuel Pricing

Wayne Oil Co. of Goldsboro, N.C., has chosen KSS Inc. and its PriceNet and PriceNet Web systems to automate and optimize fuel price management at the chain’s 13 locations across the Southeastern United States.

John Strickland Jr., president of Wayne Oil, says his company purchased PriceNet and PriceNet Web to help him boost his control and management over fuel margins and volume.

Wayne Oil is using the application service provider (ASP) model of PriceNet, meaning the retailer receives the primary benefits of a site-licensed version of the product via the Internet, but doesn’t have to invest in the additional upfront hardware and networking required when implementing the full product.
